These stones measure .287″ thick x .975″ wide x 4″ long. The backs are .225″ thick with a .062″ thick diamond/resin matrix. Save 10% when buying a full set.
These stones work very well on the KME knife sharpener if you use our stone clamp. This clamp works much better than the original for all stones, not just ours.
Be aware that you will need loose abrasive and a flat plate to dress them with, both for maintenance and initially as they generally ship without being dressed.
These stones may be used on guided sharpeners with the correct stone holders. The photo on the left shows the stone with a standard stone holder for Edge Pro style stones that work and the one on the left shows what doesn’t work. The Edge Pro uses 45 degree dovetails and mine use 30 degree dovetails. This difference in angles doesn’t cause a problem but the stop above the dovetail in the right photo does. Whether these stones work on your guided sharpener depends on the type of stone holders you have and if you can move them together for the 4″ stones.

Recently bought these stones as a set as a replacement for my Worksharp precision adjust pro stones that came with the unit. These stones cut just as fast and leave a nicer edge. There are also much finer options available than what came with the unit and what Worksharp currently offers. To make this work I did have to purchase an aftermarket stone holder but it was well worth the upgrade cost. It was a bit a learning curve to dress the stone, but its very easy to do if you have done any lapping work. I would recommend the strops too they are wonderful and in my opinion work better than the traditional leather in the guided sharpening application.
