These stones measure .537″ thick x 1.975″ wide x 8″ long. The backs are .475″ thick with a .062″ thick diamond/resin matrix. Save 10% when buying a full set.
Be aware that you will need loose abrasive and a flat plate to dress them with, both for maintenance and initially as they generally ship without being dressed.

I have been using these stones for a while now and find myself neglecting all my other stones. These are the best all purpose stones I own. They have cut every steel quickly and with great feedback. The finish is excellent and the 5 micron will bring you to a beautiful hazy mirror polish. They require very little maintenance and seem resistant to loading. They wear very slowly and will not need replacement for many years with regular nonprofessional use (I am an avid sharpening hobbiest). The substantial aluminum base with 45° engagement cuts makes handling the stones a pleasure. I have used Shapton Glass, Venev Diamond, Atoma, Edgepro Auminum Oxide, etc and David’s stones have out performed them all in so many categories that my default choice has become these stones.
